LG Offers More Details of Flagship Touchscreen Phone

AdMob Secures $15.7 Million in Additional Funding

The mobile ad agency, AdMob says that it has achieved cash flow positive results and secured a new US$15.7 million Series C investment round, led by Sequoia CapitalÃ's Growth Fund with existing investor Accel Partners participating. The company has experienced strong growth over the past year, more than tripling the number of ads served on a monthly basis to 4.5 billion in September 2008.  more

Americans Conducted Nearly 7 Million Web Searches for the iPhone in April

Internet measurement firm, comScore has released a study on "iPhone"-related search terms based on data from their Marketer service, which showed that 1.3 million people conducted 6.9 million searches for iPhone-related terms in April 2008.  more

iPhone is Top for News and Information Accessed on Mobile Browser

Six months after the iPhone's U.S. launch, has the device changed the mobile landscape? According to M:Metrics, the mobile media authority, the answer is yes. Today, the measurement firm reports that the iPhone is already the most popular device for accessing news and information on the mobile Web, with 85 percent of iPhone users accessing news and information in the month of January.  more
