networking giants has failed to materialise, as FacebookÃ's attempts to woo
Twitter with an all-stock offer fell on deaf ears. FacebookÃ's valuation seems
to have been the sticking point. But with neither company as yet able to
demonstrate that it can make money on a scale that matches its number of users,
the outcome might not be a bad thing.

Yahoo Secures UK Mobile Advertising Deal
yahoo has secured the mobile advertising account for Hutchison 3G UK and will
exclusively sell 3 UK banners and sponsored links inventory. yahoo will sell the
inventory for the 3 UK portal starting from later this month.
