The 800 MHz processor is significantly more powerful than the average 500 MHz which are usually shipped in handsets - and will make the phone menu and functions more responsive. Featuring ASUS' latest touch-driven user interface - Glide - the P565 posts Vs benchmark scores almost two times that of competing products in its class.  more

Handango has published its global trend report about the smartphone content industry for last year. For the first time in Yardstick history, Entertainment content was the leading sales category, moving from third place in 2006, signaling a consumer shift in using smartphones not just for business and productivity-related activities. Also, the report shows smartphones created and marketed to consumers to use for work and play were among the leading devices for content downloads in 2007.  more

Handango Publishes Top Smartphone Software Chart

The software retailer, Handango has published its quarterly sales report, detailing the most popular smartphone and PDA software applications. This most recent version of the Yardstick indicated that three smartphones launched within the past year were among the top ten devices adding software based on revenue. The Motorola Q topped the list, overtaking the Palm Treo 650 which had been in the top spot for more than a year, with the BlackBerry Pearl following close behind. The Palm Treo 680, also a newly-released device, ranked at number ten. more
