HTC Shows Off New QWERTY Smartphone
HTC has debuted its newest QWERTY smartphone, the HTC Snap - a HSDPA enabled windows Mobile 6.1 Standard based smartphone. According to the handset vendor, many people find they are overwhelmed by the amount of email they receive. In response to these issues, HTC's "Inner Circle" feature allows HTC Snap users to press a dedicated Inner Circle key to bring emails from a preselected group of people to the top of their inbox, enabling important messages to be acted upon immediately. more

BSNL To Start Selling 3G USB Modems
Indian mobile phone manufacturer, Micromax says that it has secured a distribution deal with state-owned mobile network operator, BSNL for its 3G USB Modems. BSNL is currently rolling out its 3G network, and currently covers 11 cities - with the intention to cover approx 700 cities in the next 2-3 months. more

The 800 MHz processor is significantly more powerful than the average 500 MHz which are usually shipped in handsets - and will make the phone menu and functions more responsive.
