Aircom Signs Network Planning Tool Deal with O2
Planning and optimisation consultancy, Aircom International, has been selected by O2 in the UK to supply ASSET, its radio network planning and optimisation tool. The implementation of ASSET into the O2 network has already begun, with a scheduled completion date set for December 2008. O2 has also taken the option to purchase further licenses for ADVANTAGE, Aircom's automatic cell planning (ACP) tool, later in the year. more

Synergy has issued a report which shows the worldwide mobile wireless infrastructure market has climbed 13.1 percent year over year. The fastest growing market segment was Mobile Softswitch, which grew 43.8 percent year over year, followed by UMTS equipment, which increased 27.3 percent year over year. more
