Google's new Chrome Operating System (OS) represents a direct challenge to Microsoft's hegemony in the burgeoning market for netbook software, according to iSuppli. Opera Launches Upgraded Mobile Browser
Mobile web browser vendor, Opera Mobile has announced the launch of an updated version of its software for Windows Mobile based phones. The browser now comes with a server sided compression service, similar to that offered with the Opera Mini browser that shrinks web pages before they are delivered to the mobile phone. more
