Samsung Mobile Installs 115 Charging Stations at Three of the Busiest U.S. Airports
Samsung Mobile has set up 115 charging stations at three more US airports to enable passengers to recharge their mobile phones if necessary. The new airports are George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston (IAH), Miami International Airport (MIA) and washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). With today's additions, Samsung Mobile has installed charging stations in 10 of the nation's busiest airports in the USA, which are accessible to more than 395 million passengers annually. more

Business Use of Wi-Fi Hotspots Increases by 46%
iPass has published the latest edition of its Mobile Broadband Index, which tracks the wireless use patterns of mobile workers around the world. The report shows worldwide business use of iPass Wi-Fi hotspots increased by 46% from the first half of 2007 to the first half of 2008 and that users of 2.5G and 3G mobile broadband technologies in the US increased their data traffic in the second quarter of the year by 59% between 2007 and 2008. more
