Sprint Spectrum has announced that it is to close it existing GSM network in the Washington DC and Baltimore areas, and transfer all its customers onto its parent company's national CDMA network. It is expected that the GSM network will close down during November. This was announced in June, but somehow, I missed the story...sorry. more
