ZTE Wins German 3G MVNO Core Contract

ZTE has won a contract to build a 3G core network for German mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE), vistream. ZTE says that it will provide a series of solutions to vistream for a network capacity of 500,000 subscribers, including an all-IP platform, ATCA (Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture) hardware infrastructure and NGHLR (Next Generation Home Location Register) systems to construct a large a simplified GSM/UMTS core network.  more
