Standards Based Solution for Voice and SMS Services Over LTE Announced

­A gang of telecoms companies have jointly defined the preferred way to ensure the smooth introduction and delivery of voice and SMS services on Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks worldwide. Big Three Working on LTE Use in Unpaired Radio Spectrum

LTE Subscribers: From Zero to 32 Million in Three Years

Despite the fact that no LTE (Long Term Evolution) network is expected to be commercial before 2010, a new study from ABI Research forecasts that by 2013, there will be more than 32 million subscribers using LTE networks. Three of the largest mobile operators - China Mobile, Vodafone and verizon Wireless - have announced plans to adopt LTE.  more
