OSS BSS Solutions Market Growing Rapidly in India
The phenomenal growth in the Indian telecommunication industry has led to the increased demand for Operation Support System and Business Support System (OSS BSS) solutions. Chunghwa Telecom Revenues Down - Profits Up
Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom has reported a slight drop in first quarter revenues of 3.6% to NT$49.1 billion (US$1.46 billion), although profits rose by 0.7% to NT$10.8 billion (US$320 million). Mobile revenue decreased 3.1% to NT$17.6 billion (US$522 million); mobile vas revenue increased by 18.5%. more

Green Packet Wins Taiwanese WiMAX Software Contract
Malaysia's Green Packet says that it has sealed an agreement with Taiwan-based Tatung Infocomm to enhance the connectivity capabilities of Tatung's WiMAX network. The agreement will see Green Packet providing Tatung with a customised edition of its Intouch Connection Management Platform. This provision will greatly improve Tatung InfoComm's ability to offer seamless mobility across networks over secured mobile VPN, for example a user moving from Tatung WiMAX to Wi-Fi and back to a WiMAX coverage area. more
