Motorola Shows off Sequel to the RAZR Handset

At a conference held in New York, Motorola has shown off a range of new handsets, including its sequel to the popular RAZR handset, the aptly named, RAZR2. First to be shown were two new evolutions of their BlackBerry competitor, the Q handset. The Q8 will be a standard GSM model, while the Q9 will be a 3G - HSDPA enabled unit. Sony Ericsson has announced a new Quad-band EDGE Walkman-branded mobile music phone. The latest Walkman phone comes with a 512MB removable Memory Stick (approximately 150 music tracks), which can be upgraded to 2GB currently available in retail outlets. Consumers can easily and quickly load music to the phone; either uploading their legacy CD collection onto the W810 from a PC via usb 2.0 using the provided Disc2Phone music management software, or by purchasing new music from operator specific over-the-air download services. more
