Sierra Wireless Launches HSPA+ USB Modems
Sierra Wireless has launched its first mobile broadband usb modems for HSPA+ networks. The new modems nearly triple the speed of other mobile broadband devices, with peak download speeds of 21Mbps. Sierra Wireless has introduced a line of voice-enabled PCI Express Mini Card modules that provide integrated network connectivity for a variety of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) devices. The company says that these are the first and only 3G voice-enabled embedded modules available on the market today and are ready for testing and integration. more
