Rwandan Operator Signs up 120,000 Customers in Three Weeks

Rwandan mobile operator, Rwandatel says that it signed up 120,000 new subscribers in the three weeks since it switched on its 3G and GSM network. Rwanda mobile operator launches GSM, 3G network

APA-Kigali (Rwanda) RwandaĆ's oldest telecommunication operator, Rwandatel, Friday launched the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and 3G network for its mobile telephone, replacing its CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) platform, as it prepares for a cut-throat competition with MTN Rwanda, its main challenger.  more
