Turkcell Launches New Applications with Mobile Signature Solution
Turkish mobile operator, turkcell has rolled out a new series of electronic signature based services, based on a SIM card supplied by Gemalto. The Gemalto solution allows subscribers to securely access online services that require strong authentication using their mobile phone to sign their transactions and documents by means of a legally binding electronic signature. Turkcell Looking to Buy Controlling Stake in Indian Mobile Network

Turkey to Offer 3G Licenses Within Six Months
Turkey is to launch a tender for 3G licenses within the next six months, reports the government's Official Gazette, where all new laws are published. According to the Gazette, the minimum value of the A License is set as US$405 million, while the minimum value is US$355 million for the B License, US$304 million for the C License and US$253 million for the D License. more
