Sierra Wireless works to develop CDMA based PC cards

Sierra Wireless has announced an agreement with telus Mobility for the development of a CDMA Type II PC card for use in laptops and PDA's, providing data communications up to 144kbps. "We are pleased to have telus Mobility's support in the research and development of next-generation CDMA technology," said Norman Toms, Chief Technical Officer, Sierra Wireless.
