Telenor Expands Pakistani Coverage
Telenor Pakistan says that it has expanded its network coverage to 613 destinations, within less than 18 months of the company's launch. Stressing Telenor Pakistan's fast pace of achievements for the benefit of the customers, Telenor Pakistan's CEO Tore Johnsen said, "Telenor Pakistan today is the fastest growing network in the country and we are committed to developing the telecom sector, raising market standards, and offering value-added services. Telenor Expands Pakistan Network
Telenor Pakistan says that it now has the second largest network in the country with 500 destinations covered within less than 16 months of the company's launch. This extension of coverage has come a few days after the company announced a new visual identity and a highly distinct approach of innovative product segmentation in the market. Sharing perspective on the series of aggressive moves in the market, CEO Telenor Pakistan Tore Johnsen said, "We are delivering in line with our new brand identity and what customers have come to expect of us. Our aim is to be the best at offering more value for money to each unique type of customer by innovating for the customer, with the customer." Telenor will offer all its commercial cellular services through a network of Sales and Service Centers, Franchises and several thousand retail outlets on central locations. more

Azure Solutions has announced that Telenor Pakistan is to implement it's Interconnect billing platform, Version 9 for its GSM services. In addition, Telenor Pakistan will be upgrading its existing Azure Interconnect system for its long distance international (LDI) services. more

Azure Solutions has announced that Telenor Pakistan has implemented it's interconnect billing solution to provide billing and rating for its LDI (Long Distance International) services. Telenor secured a licence to provide mobile and international interconnect services in Pakistan in 2004 and subsequently required an effective billing solution. The system provides operators with visibility of CDRs (call detail records) and the ability to adapt to rate changes quickly to ensure billing accuracy. more
