Austria Gets Europe's First HSPA+ Mobile Data Network

Telekom Austria's mobile subsidiary, mobilkom austria, has become the first operator in Europe to launch HSPA+ services - offering a potential mobile data download speed of 21 Mbps. Ericsson wins Austrian HSPA expansion and upgrade contract

Ericsson has been selected by Austrian operator mobilkom austria (mobilkom) to expand and upgrade its WCDMA network with HSPA functionality in the region of Carinthia. The deal builds on earlier contracts between the companies.  more
