Telekom Austria Slips into the Red on Restructuring Costs

Telekom Austria Group has reported full year revenues up 5.1% to €5.17 billion (US$6.6 billion), although EBITDA decreased by 30.2% to €1.3 billion (US$1.66 billion) due to restructuring costs in its landline division which cost it €632 million (US$806 million). Excluding the restructuring program EBITDA increased by 3.9% to €1.93 billion (US$2.46 billion).  more

Telekom Austria To Pursue Legal Action Over Mast Tax

VIENNA -(Dow Jones)- Telekom Austria AG (TKA) said Thursday it will continue pursuing legal action to stop a tax being levied on wireless masts in Lower Austria after a European Union court ruled that such taxes are legal.  more
