Nokia Siemens Wins Contracts in Czech Republic and Slovakia

Telefónica O2 has selected Nokia Siemens Networks to extend its mobile networks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Under a three-year contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will be the sole supplier of the 2G and optionally 3G networks covering Slovakia and 2G and 3G in the Czech Republic's two major cities, Prague and Brno.  more

Telefonica: ICTs can reduce 15% of global emissions by 2020

Telefónica has pledged to lead an information and communication technologies (ICT) industry initiative to cut global CO2 emissions by 15 per cent before 2020. Telefonica Gets a Debt Ratings Upgrade

Fitch Ratings has upgraded telefonica and its subsidiary O2's Long-term Issuer Default ratings (IDRs) to 'A-'(A minus) from 'BBB+', respectively. The agency has simultaneously upgraded telefonica Finance USA's preference shares to 'BBB+' from 'BBB'. telefonica's short term rating of F2 is affirmed.  more

Nokia Siemens Picks Up Germany Network Contracts
