Egypt Awards Third GSM and 3G License

A consortium led by the UAE's Etisalat has won the auction to operate Egypt's third mobile network license. The decision was announced opting for the etisalat consortium's offer for both 2G and 3G licenses. Other partners in the consortium include Egypt Post, National Bank of Egypt and Commercial International Bank. more
