Tele2 and Telenor to Jointly Build LTE Network in Sweden

Sweden's tele2 and Telenor have this morning announced plans to jointly build an LTE based network through a new joint-venture company. Sweden Finishes "4G" Spectrum Auction

Sweden's telecoms regulator, the PTS has announced that its spectrum auction in the 2.6 GHz band has been concluded, after 16 days of bidding and 112 bidding rounds. Five bidders have won licenses for the total amount of SEK2,099,450,000 (US$348 million).  more

Vodafone May Buy More Operators in India

BARCELONA -(Dow Jones)- Mobile phone operator Vodafone Group said on Tuesday that it needs more radio spectrum to continue expanding into India and may have to buy it through acquisitions if the government doesn't make it available.  more
