T-Mobile USA Investigated Over Tower Planning Law Breaches
California's Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is reported to be studying claims that T-Mobile USA has been ignoring local building regulations in Northern California. The commission finds that T-Mobile has broken local planning laws, then it can impose multi-million dollar fines on the company and require the towers to be removed or resited. more

Linksys Launches UMA Capable Wi-Fi Router
Cisco subsidiary, Linksys has launched a new domestic router product which supports cellular UMA services. At its core, the WRTU54G is a standard Linksys Wireless-G broadband router, but it adds two phone jacks, two internal SIM card slots for multiple phone lines and UMA client software. T-Mobile USA is using the WRTU54G for its T-Mobile @Home service, currently being tested in the Seattle and Dallas markets. more
