T-Mobile tops mobile broadband survey two quarters in a row

T-Mobile UK says that its Mobile Broadband service has been rated highest in more categories than any other mobile network operator in an independent YouGov survey of 2,083 mobile broadband users. This latest survey also reveals T-Mobile's Mobile Broadband network coverage is most highly rated by consumers, a reflection of the investment T-Mobile has made in this area. The poll also found T-Mobile was best in a range of customer-centric categories, including getting connected, ease of use and installation, billing and was ranked joint first for customer services.  more

T-Mobile's UK Mobile Broadband service has topped an independent YouGov survey of 1,958 respondents that have mobile broadband. Conducted in January 2009, the results rank T-Mobile first in nine of 13 categories that include critical assessment factors such as reliability, speed, network coverage, connectivity and value for money.  more

Majority of UK Businesses Can't Control International Mobile Calling Costs

T-Mobile UK has published research which reveals 60 percent of small business senior decision makers spend a minimum of five hours a week out of the office - the equivalent of 32.5 working days a year. When combined with the average UK holiday entitlement of 25 days, small business directors and managers are potentially out of contact for over two months each year - hampering their teams' ability to get quick decisions when required.  more

UK WiFi Users Call for More Hotspots

Wi-Fi users are demanding access to information on the move in an increasing variety of locations according to research from T-Mobile UK and YouGov. When asked where they would like more public Wi-Fi HotSpots, more than half of respondents said that they want to be able to access Wi-Fi services on trains, with 37 percent calling for access at shopping centres. Nearly a third of respondents would like Wi-Fi access in parks, whilst over a quarter want access on the tube. Meanwhile, 13 percent of respondents would also like to be able to surf the net whilst soaking up the sun at the beach. more
