Qualcomm Responds to Nokia Lawsuits

Qualcomm has responded to Nokia's decision to file complaints against the company in Germany and the Netherlands. Although Qualcomm says that it has not seen the complaints, Nokia's press release alleges that Qualcomm's patents are exhausted with regards to Nokia's products placed on the European market that contain chipsets supplied to Nokia by Texas Instruments. more

RIM Calls for Patent System Reform

Research In Motion has publicly called for a review of the way patents are awarded in the USA following their massive payment to settle the patent lawsuit from NTP.
