2009 Will Be Year of the Mini-Notebook in Asia Pacific
Shipments of mini-notebooks in Asia Pacific will reach four million units in 2009, growing by a robust 82 per cent over 2008, according to Gartner. T-Mobile Ranks Top in Mobile Broadband Survey
T-MobileĆ's UK 3G/HSPA network has been judged the best in the UK in independent tests carried out by test house, P3 Solutions over the last quarter. The tests benchmark T-Mobile against its competitors by measuring customer experiences that matter most to users during peak usage hours across 16 cities throughout the UK. When measured against its competitors, T-Mobile was found on aggregate to be fastest for internet upload and download speeds as well as for web browsing and for sending and receiving emails. more

StarHub Tripple 3G Data Upload Speeds
Singapore's StarHub has upgraded its HSPA network nationwide to 5.76Mbps on the uplink, tripling its current mobile broadband upload capacity of 1.9Mbps. When completed in end December 2008, the upgrade will make StarHub the first operator in Asia to have a nationwide High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) network at 5.76Mbps. more
