Despite Recession - US Smartphone Market Still Growing

According to The NPD Group, consumer sales of smartphones to U.S. consumers represented 23 percent of all handset sales in the fourth quarter (Q4) 2008 compared to just 12 percent in Q4 2007. Weak Forecast for Taiwan's Smartphone Shipments in Q1 '09
