Music identity service, shazam says that it is expanding its existing partnership with Vodafone Germany to offer shazamÃ's music discovery application alongside the already popular IVR service. Music recognition service prepares for launch
The music recognition company, shazam Entertainment has appointed Mobileway to provide it with a premium SMS solution to all four major mobile operators in the UK for the company's service at launch this Summer. shazam has developed a real-time song identification service that will be deployed to mobile phone users. When users hear a song they like they simply dial shazam's four-digit number from their mobile, let their phones listen along to the music for 15 seconds, and immediately learn the name of the song and the artist via SMS. The company has developed a technology in audio pattern recognition to enable this service, for which six patents have been filed. more
