The USA based CDMA network, Horizon Personal Communications and Bright Personal Communications Services, both subsidiaries of Horizon PCS have filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Eastern Division, against SprintPCS, alleging wrongful conduct on the part of Sprint in its relationship and business dealings with Horizon. more

Motorola sued over Iridium debts
Chase Manhattan Bank and 17 other lenders are to sue Motorola, claiming that it mislead them over the commercial viability of the Iridium satellite phone network. According to a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Motorola received a loan of US$800 million, and then filed Iridium for bankruptcy just eight months later. The lawsuit was filed in the Supreme Court of New York last month. In December 2000, the Iridium network was sold for just US$25 million." more
