Top Four Mobile Games Developers Consolidate Lead
The world's top four games publishers are taking an ever bigger share of the market for mobile games, according to the latest report from media analyst Screen Digest. EA Mobile, Gameloft, Glu and THQ Wireless have seen their global market shares increase from 11 per cent to 22 per cent in 2007 and the figure is rising, particularly in Western Europe. more

Mobile gaming to reach US$1 billion this year
According to a new report by media research consultancy Screen Digest, the global mobile gaming download market will be a billion-dollar industry by the end of this year. However - the lion's share of this market will originate from Japan and Korea - last year these two markets accounted for almost 80% of the global market. Screen Digest forecasts that the global market will be worth US$6.4 billion by 2010. more
