China's Smartphone Sales up 5.2% in Q3 2007
China's CCID Consulting says that it saw a 5.2% increase is sales in China's smart phone business in Q3 '07, compared to Q2'07. CCID Consulting released its latest data showing that the sales volume of China's smart phones reached 6.388 million sets in Q3, up 5.2% over Q2; sales revenue reached 16.61 billion Yuan, increasing 11.3% on a month-on-month basis. With students buying phones during the summer vacation and with promotions during the Chinese national holiday, the smart phone market created highs in sales volume. more
