Who are the Top 10 Operators in the Middle East and Africa?
After a comparatively quiet second quarter, the mobile market in the Middle East and Africa has bounced back with a record number of new customers. As has been the case for most of this year, the bulk of the growth has come from Africa, rather than the Middle East, with Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa producing the strongest gains. Looking across the markets what we see is that most of the fastest growing businesses were in Africa, rather than the Middle East, where markets are characterised by much higher penetration rates. more
