Fractus Sues Ten Cellphone Manufacturers for Patent Infringement

Ten mobile phone vendors are being sued for allegedly infringing patents relating to internal antennas used on their handsets. Spanish antenna manufacturer, Fractus says that is has sued Samsung, LG, rim, Pantech, Kyocera, Palm, HTC, Sharp, UTStarcom, and Sanyo for infringing nine different patents.  more

InterDigital Signs RIM to Worldwide 3G Patent License

NTP Inc. Files Lawsuits Against Four Wireless Carriers

RICHMOND (AP)--NTP Inc., the patent-owning entity that got $612 million out of a suit against BlackBerry maker Research in Motion, has hit the nation's top four wireless carriers with similar lawsuits.  more
