Unity to supply CDMA repeaters to China
Unity Wireless has entered into its second major supply agreement with a Chinese customer to provide RF power amplifiers valued at US$2 million over a 12-month period. The first US$100,000 shipment of CDMA RF power amplifiers under the agreement is scheduled for delivery in January, with the remaining amplifiers expected to be delivered over the balance of this year. In addition, Unity Wireless has agreed to develop a line of GSM amplifiers for this customer in anticipation of a similar supply agreement, which is expected to be entered into during 2002. This customer is Unity Wireless Corporation's second Chinese customer and one of China's largest manufacturers of indoor repeaters and an OEM repeater distributor. more

Powerwave to supply Nokia with power amps
Powerwave Technologies and Nokia yesterday announced that they have entered into a two-year purchasing agreement under which Powerwave will supply multi-carrier RF power amplifiers (MCPA) for use in Nokia's W-CDMA wireless base stations. Nortel amends a 3G supplier agreement
Powerwave Technologies has announced that it has entered into a letter of intent to amend its existing supply agreement with Nortel Networks to cover the supply of third generation multi-carrier RF power amplifiers designed for UMTS networks. Nortel Network's purchase commitment is estimated to generate a minimum of approximately US$140 million in revenue for these third generation products during 2001. more
