Russia's MTS to Promote Nokia Phones in Own Retail Stores

Nokia has signed a deal with Russian mobile network operator, Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) to sell Nokia phones in MTS' retail network. Qiao Xing Mobile to Boost 3G Phone Development Staff

China's Qiao Xing Mobile says that it plans to accelerate its 3G mobile phone R&D by adding 200 engineers to its existing R&D team in Beijing in 2009. O2 UK to Revamp its Retail Outlets

UK mobile operator, O2 has announced a program to revamp its own-brand retail outlets in the country. The company said that selected O2 stores will be sporting a fresh new look over the next few months and that as part of a multi-million pound campaign, 150 stores by the end of 2009 will undergo a complete re-fit.  more

Orange UK To Open 60 New Stores - Revamp 100 Exisitng Outlets

Orange UK has announced that it plans to open around 60 new retail stores throughout this year and into 2009 across sites including Southampton, Bristol Cabot Circus and White City in London, building on OrangeĆ's existing 338 outlets. The locations have been chosen to increase OrangeĆ's accessibility, so that the majority of the population are within reasonable travelling distance of an Orange shop.  more
