Possible Solution to Indian BlackBerry Security Problem
Canada's Research in Motion is reported to have secured an agreement with the Indian government to give their security services access to encrypted emails when requested. The deal is however conditional on the Department of Telecommunications taking full responsibility for any loss of privacy or data leakages. more

No BlackBerry Ban in India - Yet
Indian government officials and local operators have reportedly agreed not to carry out threats to block the use of the BlackBerry handsets within the country - for the time being. There has been a problem with the BlackBerry servers as components of the service are hosted in Canada and are therefore outside the reach of Indian security services who might want to tap into the communications. more
