Mobile advertising agency, AdMob has highlighted the rapid and global growth of mobile Web and application usage over the past year in their September 2008 AdMob Mobile Metrics Report. CCID Consulting Reviews Motorola Performance in the Mobile Phone Market
China's CCID Consulting recently analyzed through its Enterprises Strategy Consulting Center, Motorola's failure in the mobile phone market. CCID Consulting statistics show that the market share of Motorola mobile phone decreased from 22.2% in 2006 to 12% in 2007, ranking 3rd after Samsung. The proportion of mobile phone business in Motorola also decreased from 70% to 52%. Besides, its profit contribution in 2006 is $2.7 billion, but in 2007, its profit contribution in 2007 is with deficit of $1.2 billion. more
