Deutsche Telekom Issues Profits Warning - May Write Down T-Mobile Value

Deutsche Telekom has issued a profits warning, and now expects adjusted EBITDA in 2009 to be 2 to 4 percent below last year. The company is now expecting to post EBITDA in the range of EUR18.7 billion - EUR19.1 billionn (US$24.7 billionn) after an initial forecast of EUR19.5 billion.  more

T-Mobile Q3 2006 - Mobile World Briefing

T-Mobile's third quarter results have been overshadowed by the news that its former CEO, Kai-Uwe Ricke, has been ousted from his post as Deutsche Telecom's Chief Executive. We comment upon that in our features section at the end of this issue, so what of the numbers? These show a near 7% increase in revenues, year on year to €8.2bn, but a 2% drop in EBITDA to €2.68bn and a drop of 10% in operating profit, which emerged at €1.39bn, down from €1.54bn in the same quarter of last year. more

Deutsche Tel 3Q Net Falls On Customer Exodus

BONN -(Dow Jones)- Deutsche Telekom has posted a 20.4% fall in third-quarter net profit as the German telecoms titan was hit by another quarter of massive outflow of fixed-line telephony customers in its home market.  more
