BIC Branded Phone to be Sold in Spain
Orange is to launch its BIC branded prepay phone in Spain, following sales of the product in France for the past year. The BIC phone is a rechargeable mobile telephone, 100 % ready-to-use when purchased with a fully charged battery and the SIM card already inserted. more
Orange Romania says that it is rolling out a new type of packaging for its Orange prepay top-up packs. Whereas packaging has been made of standard paper and plastic until now, the new packaging contains 100% recycled and recyclable card, while the user guide that comes with every pack is now printed on 50% recycled paper. more

Orange in Talks to Buy Romanian Retailer
Orange is understood to be in talks to buy out Romania's last substantial independent mobile phone retailer, Euro-GSM. The company, currently owned by the Cluj-based Fodor family operates some 130 Orange branded mobile phone retail outlets and has an estimated market valuation of EUR20 million. more

O2 Tops Customer Satisafaction in UK Survey
A survey carried out by the UK price comparison website, moneysupermarket.com has found that O2 ranked top for customer satisfaction amongst contract subscribers, although T-Mobile came bottom for prepay customers. more
