Nokia wins Polish 3G and GSM expansion contract
Nokia and the Polish operator polkomtel have signed a frame agreement for the expansion and modernization of polkomtel's GSM/EDGE and WCDMA 3G network. In addition, the agreement includes the Nokia Push to Talk over Cellular solution. Deliveries begin immediately and the expansion will be rolled-out during 2005. more

Modifications to Polish 3G contract
Nokia has been chosen by Poland's polkomtel to supply and deploy the initial phase of its 3G network deployment in Poland, under amendments to the two companies' existing contract. In addition, Nokia will provide GSM/EDGE infrastructure to expand polkomtel's existing mobile networks. 3G deliveries will begin in May; deliveries of EDGE have already started. more
