Australia steps up cellphone crime campaign

Australia's Telstra Mobile has said that it will take steps to ban stolen mobile phones from its network as part of a broader campaign to curb the incidence of mobile phone theft. For this initiative to be effective, Telstra and the industry will need to work through a host of technical and regulatory limitations of IMEI blocking.
