Alvarion Wins WiMAX Contract Covering Rural USA

WiMAX vendor, Alvarion says that it has won a five-year, US$100 million contract from US operator, Open Range Communications, for the USA's largest Rural Utilities Service (RUS) funded deployment spanning 17 states, 546 rural communities, and reaching up to 6 million people.  more
