OMTP Recommendations to make Mobile Terminal Testing not so 'Testing'
The Open Mobile Terminal Platform (OMTP), a trade body working on future handset specifications, has announced the release of its Mobile Terminal Testing recommendation document. Its aims are to simplify the automated testing of different devices, reduce the time to market for new devices and services, and improve the quality of those devices and services in the marketplace. Inherent in the implementation of these recommendations is the potential for significantly reduced testing costs by manufacturers, operators and application developers. more
