Sony Ericsson Inches Closer to Android Smartphone Launch

Sony Ericsson is reported to be closer to launching a smartphone running the Google backed Android OS, according to Peter Ang, vice president of marketing, Asia Pacific at Sony Ericsson. He told Digitimes that the new Android 2.0 based phone will also have more multimedia support than the previous versions currently on the market.  more
