Cape Town awards 3 year cellphone contract

South Africa's Cell C has been awarded an exclusive contract to supply and deliver cellular products and services to the City of Cape Town until 2007. Commencing this month, the company will supply up to 3,700 cellular postpaid contracts. The City of Cape Town was looking to consolidate its cellular business with one network with a focus on increasing value for money and providing more tariff choices for the wide variety of users in its employ. more
