UK Customers Disappointed with Mobile Data Services
A new NOP survey commissioned by olista, reveals that nearly half of the UK based mobile data consumers who used a service for the first time during the 2006 football World Cup in Germany would not use it again. According to the survey of 999 adults carried out during the final weekend of the competition, an encouraging 29% of world cup mobile data users have used a service for the first time but worryingly for operators 44% claimed they would not use the service again. more

The vast majority of UK mobile phone users that buy sophisticated handsets are not using mobile data services, reveals an independent NOP survey, commissioned by olista amongst 800 users aged 15 - 65+. The findings show that 77% of phone users have never used any new data services such as picture and video messaging or gaming and ring tone downloads and a mere 12% of actual mobile data users profess to be completely satisfied with the service. more
