JAJAH Powers Telefonica's International Calling Drive in UK

o2 UK is launching a service that allows its subscribers to dial a local number to call friends and family abroad. The service is being powered by JAJAH, an o2 subsidiary. In addition to dialing a local number to call internationally, o2 International Favourites customers can also give their international friends and family a local number, in over 40 countries, to call back to the UK.  more

Aircom Signs Network Planning Tool Deal with O2

Planning and optimisation consultancy, Aircom International, has been selected by o2 in the UK to supply ASSET, its radio network planning and optimisation tool. The implementation of ASSET into the o2 network has already begun, with a scheduled completion date set for December 2008. o2 has also taken the option to purchase further licenses for ADVANTAGE, Aircom's automatic cell planning (ACP) tool, later in the year.  more
