Anti-Spam company, MailChannels has found that o2 UK's web based MMS service is open to the general public without any form of user authentication. Although it is not possible to track down specific photos or o2 customer details, the move has caused concern amongst o2 customers chatting on the company's own customer care forum. more

The UK network operator, o2 has previewed a new music phone which it will be releasing in August. The selling point of the handset is the LED display which is embedded into the outside of the clamshell handset. A key feature that consumers rated high in testing is the blue LED display which can be programmed to show time, 'now playing' information, caller ID and also displays the beginning of text messages as they arrive in the users inbox. more
