Nortel Cuts 3rd Quarter Outlook - To Sell Metro Ethernet Business
Canada's nortel Networks has lowered its business outlook expectations and announced another round of cutbacks and asset sales. The company now expects 3rd quarter sales to be around US$2.3 billion, down on previous estimates of US$2.66 billion and compared to US$2.7 billion a year earlier. The firm lost US$113 million on sales of US$2.62 billion in the second quarter of this year. more
