58 Million US Mobile Subscribers Have Seen Advertising Over Their Phones

Twenty-three percent (58 million) of all U.S. mobile subscribers say they've been exposed to advertising on their phones in the past 30 days, according to a new report from The nielsen Company. M:Metrics Wins Summary Judgment Dismissing Patent Infringement Claim

M:Metrics has announced that in a patent infringement lawsuit filed by Telephia, now called nielsen Mobile, the court has ruled that M:Metrics does not infringe Telephia's patent. In awarding M:Metrics' petition for partial summary judgment, the court ruled that Telephia's claims "have been proven by M:Metrics to be either factually baseless or so highly attenuated that they fail to raise any issue of material fact."  more

Groove Mobile has announced that it will start reporting global sales of mobile music downloads to nielsen SoundScan. Effective July 10, nielsen SoundScan, the sales source for the Billboard music charts, will include Groove's mobile music purchase data in reporting comprehensive sales of the world's key mass merchants and non-traditional outlets.
